Buy Food With Plastic
We are from Zurich, Switzerland.
Our vision is to make people more aware of the use of plastic. We give plastic a value and use it as a currency. In countries like Nicaragua, we organize events where the local population can pay for a meal with collected plastic bottles. In this way, we reduce plastic waste and at the same time help the population to eat healthily. We are working in line with the development goals of the United Nations. We attach particular importance to Objectives 2 to combating hunger and 13 to protect the environment.
We are currently building houses with the collected plastic. Once we have enough resources, our goal is to build wells in disadvantaged countries to completely redeem the water supply from plastic bottles.
